From April 1, 2021 Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution undertakes the functions of the Azerbaijan Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network of the World Economic Forum.

The basis for the creation of Azerbaijan Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Azerbaijan) was laid by the signing of a protocol of intent between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the President of the World Economic Forum Mr. Borge Brende at the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland on January 21, 2020.

The center is the first center established by World Economic Forum in the CIS.
